Ah the weekly shopping at the supermarket. Where you promise that you will only buy the healthiest most organiciest foods available and come home with this:
As a woman who has not seen the inside of a job for 3 months who has watched her weight balloon up to hideous portions and I decide that purchasing a Healthy Choice or Stoffer's meal is a good option as I am being controlled calorie wise. It ain't. I read the backs of these things and look away in disgust but I surmise that since I want to lose weight and if I cook as you can see from prior posts I enjoy tons of Olive Oil and butter AND cream, this may be the best way for me at least for a week, I can never stick things out so I feel that this may be a good starting point for me. I want to show you the freezer door because next to some frozen veggies from last year are containers of Ben & Jerry's. I do worship at the cult of Vermont!
Ignoring the wrongness of my freezer I take a photo of my fridge and am appalled. How much Coca-Cola does my boyfriend drink? As you can clearly see on my road to organic I purchased some "organic" milk and eggs. And a spaghetti squash.
Okay so I admit that I am not the healthiest and it will take time so for this week at least I will try to control myself and exercise more and try to stay away from ice cream!
Cheers!
